Hi all,

I finally bit the bullet and bought a new car recently so I'm trying to sell my beloved 2000 GS Sedan. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have listed it on Craigslist and the newspaper online classifieds. After a couple weeks, have only gotten some inquiries, one who looked but said it was too old looking and now one lowball offer.

I listed for $3000 to start, hoping to get $2000 at the least. KBB value ranges from approximately 2200 - 2600 depending if you call if fair or good. I would rate somewhere in between the two.

What do you all think about the price? Someone just texted asking for $1000 but that seems too low for me. Not sure how to respond.

This is the ad. https://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/cto/6009983830.html

Thanks for any input!

Take the trunk mat out and sell it separately.
Those go for a good amount over here in California

When was the timing belt last changed? They are supposed to be changed every 60-90 thousand miles.

Since you're in Hawaii, one wouldn't need to worry about rust when working on the rear suspension which is great. But yeah 2500 is a good starting point.
