I love this car also, voted for it last year, but running the show shouldn't put you above the rules. This is actually the only site I'm on where the person running the show is eligible to compete in ROTM/Y. Most forbid it due to conflict of interest. I'm not going to argue it just kinda think it's bulls*** the mod in charge can free-range.

The Non-Honda/Acura category was originally created so the 2-3 of the regulars who sold their teg's on the site could have a fun little category to run in. Id also say that I dont think I get any more votes just from being the person who sets it up, I bet most of the voters dont even know. If I had an Integra however I wouldnt run it just to preserve what id consider the "bulk" of Ride of The Year. In my opinion the Non-Honda/Acura category is just a fun category (Note the truck, lol), since this is a Integra site having the best non-Honda/Acura on Club Integra isnt the most prestigious award. Its all for fun...

As for getting to submit my app late, well thats just a perk. I mean all I had to do was copy and paste the 1st post of my build thread anyways. Its just easier for me to do it as im building the polls.

If enough people think me running is truly unfair ill gladly back out.

I'm not going to argue it, like you said, it is just a fun category. It's not really that you're the one in charge of it and running. It's more that there was a deadline, rules are rules, and no one person should be above those rules, not even the admins. I'm just viewing it as if it was that simple to just copy/paste from the first post of the build thread (which is also what I did), then why couldn't it have been done prior to the 21st like everyone else since it was so easy. Only seems fair to me.

Either way, it's a great looking car. An old friend of mine has an '04 STI on E85 making similar power and it's a blast.
