I believe tri y suits midrange better, if you want the upper range get 4-1.

4-1 is better because of the scavenging effect it produces after 4500. Something about the harmonics of the pipe sucks the exhaust gasses out of the cylinders deep stuff I'll have to find the article now lol

For a header that ends at the stock cat location a 4-1 is likely better, but a longer 4-2-1 hybrid header with longer secondaries is the best option.

^cat delete.. race application. But i would agree having seen custom made header dynos make power throughout the entire band.

4-1 = high end.
4-2-1 all around powerband.

One is a big tube the other is standard tube, hence the price difference. Both of those delete the cat so you will prob need to adjust the length on the test pipe or b pipe as these are longer. The third one linked looks standard length and will be used in conjunction with a test pipe or cat. Thenoxus1 is a dealer for plm, you can contact him for specific info on these. And there isnt much power gain between high flow cat and test pipe. Over a stock cat there is.

Ok so the big tube is better? But are they the same length? And so a test pipe is a good idea?

Better yes but in what way i couldnt really tell u besides the assumption of more power.
I prefer to run a high flow cat so a test pipe to me is only an as needed application. If a test pipe is what you need then use it. I mostly daily drive and try to keep my car smoggable or smog decent.

The choice is yours. Decided on the descriptions given above. The designs of the headers generate different power bands. Basically they serve different purposes, pick one that suits you. You will gain power, you are not winning races, dont make it complicated.
