Changing oil pan gasket

Please help! Total new guy on this forum, please be patient. I'm trying to change my oil pan gasket but there is a brace in my way and it's really not wanting to come off. It's bolted to the front steering bracket near radiator and the rear steering bracket that holds the steering gear box. What is it??i can't even find it searching the internet. I can't get the tranny dust cover off with this thing in the way. I've watched videos and read a bunch of how tos, but none mention this brace. Sorry, I can't seem to figure out how to post pics of it!

Not sure how we can help you. If something is in your way you need to remove the bolts that hold it on.

I found out what it is! It's the beam center, and a bunch of people on FB said they took it off and left it off. Thanks anyway!
