Should i get a rebuilt engine or rebuild the one i have right now?

Hey guys i have a b18c with 250K miles, water is getting into the oil. should i rebuild the one i have right now or just get another b18 with less miles?

Just rebuild it but build it if you know what i mean thats what i am doing with my gsr motor as we speak should be done next week and will be ready for turbo

I'm in the boat as you are. And I'm going to get another, rebuilt engine. Less stress.

i picked up a jdm b18c and ploped in right in place. however i do plan on rebuilding the old one.

can't figure out which direction to go. turbo or n/a

Why would it matter how many miles are on it? Rebuild = zero miles when youre done, no matter how many it started with. You would have to replace everything youre supposed to regardless, and hachine everything back to spec. You cant "save" parts to be re-used, other than the main internal components (rods, pistons, crank, cams, valves, springs). Most everything else needs to be replaced.
