I have a 1990 acura integra LS HATCHBACK. I have a engine check light that appears on my dashboard. When performing a diagnosis test, I received a code 12 (EGR issues).
There is a 4 pin connector attached the fire wall on the passenger side ( near the emission box). One of wires of the 4 pin connector is yellow black, the other is black yellow and both are receiving power. The other 2 wires are green and red. The red is suppose to receive a ground signal at 1500-3000 rpm. My ECU (new ECU) is not receiving a ground signal, therefore the EGR is not opening to recirculate the exhaust gases properly. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS ISSUE AND GET RID OF THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT. I APPRECIATE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS.
