Looking to buy an RSX

Hey guys its been a long time since I was on these threads and i need some help. I'm looking to buy an RSX (hopefully type s) and I wanted some advice. I am currently looking at this 04 type S with 100,000 miles for about 10k from a dealership. http://www.capitolchevrolet.net/used/Acura/2004-Acura-RSX-Columbia-SC-6ea268330a0a006500fecda07179af7d.htm?backLink=/bargain-inventory/index.htm
First, what do you guys think about it? Good for the money, looks, etc. Second I want to know if I should really only look for an 05. Im only putting $3000 down and my dad is paying the rest as a college graduation gift. The most I would probably mod is an intake and exhaust cause currently I'm not very car savy, and I'm not loaded. I did find this 05 type s but its from private buyer not a dealer and has 20k more miles. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=28202&endYear=2014&modelCode1=RSX&showcaseOwnerId=56013662&startYear=1981&makeCode1=ACURA&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&searchRadius=100&mmt=[ACURA[RSX[]][]]&listingId=348411497&listingIndex=15&Log=0
I'm also on a deadline cause I'm moving out of the area in 10 days and need a car. I would prefer it to be an RSX but if I dont find a good one will likely get some boring ass car. What do you guys think? I found a dealer 05 type s for like 13k but that seems high. its 94,000 miles. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=29201&endYear=2014&modelCode1=RSX&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=1981&makeCode1=ACURA&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&searchRadius=100&mmt=[ACURA[RSX[]][]]&listingId=349802801&listingIndex=8&Log=0
So what do you guys think? Any of these worth it? should i consider non type s or no? My logic was that seeing as I wont be doing any crazy upgrades the power from the type s engine will be necessary. What about the changes between 04-05? Just looking for some guidance. Thanks

You shouldn't be paying any more than $7k for ANY RSX over 100k. There are many cars you can find on craigslist that will suit your needs. The only challenge is finding a Type-S that isn't rebuilt or salvaged.

I would say 10k is a bit much for a 100k mile car. Also get the 04 because much more manufactures offer kits for 02 to 04 like the greddy kit. Type s I would agree because the k20 on that makes over 210 horsepower . Search autotrader and put in under 75k miles then search lowest price. Probably going to be around 7 to 8k. So thing is don't get that one, dealers generally overprice.
