Car Beeping?

so my car randomly beeps at me... i'll be driving down the road and all of the sudden it will start to beep from somewhere inside the dash. I think it might be because my battery light is on, but my car starts up every time. I've never had a problem with it starting. I've hooked my battery up to a charger to see if it was just low, but nothing happened. Any ideas? I was fine with the light being on,but now that its beeping at me, I'm kind of concerned

No, it's a random firing, high-pitched beep.

>> EDIT: I just drove it and found out it beeps below 2.5k RPM, but once i've gone over that on the drive at all it stops. Do you think it might be a bad alternator?

most places like Goodyear Tire and Firestone shops will test your alternator for free. i suggest tightening your belts and all the connections on it first though so you don't go up there and make an ass of yourself.

Kinda Sounds like the seat belt, but that also beeps at the same time. Same tone and everything, but not the same thing. its really weird

check the bottom of the seats, both driver n passenger n make sure nothings unplugged...the sensor of the seatbelts underneath ur seats, if they loose or off, the car will beep.

that and/or check the lil sensors of the car door (the black switch thing tht looks like an L sideways)

if it aint that then i got no clue
