Apply Paint Cleaner without Rotary Buffer Tool

Meguiar's M0116 Mirror Glaze Medium-Cut Cleaner - 16 oz Bottle

It says for use with rotary buffer only. Is this absolutely necessary? Does anyone know? I don't have rotary buffer tool and was wandering if I could still apply via hand.

Sounds good to me. But if you don't have a rotary i dont think the polish will work into the finish and get out the swirl marks. Not 100% on that but pretty sure.

OK I found someone who has a rotary thingy I can borrow but need to test it out. I will find out if there are attachments available for it locally. Worst come I'll just budget for a porter cable.

Meguiar's also has pads that come ready to fit onto a rotary. They have a couple wool pads and i think 4 cutting pads. I'm a huge fan of Meguiar's. My dad and I have been trying out their stuff for years and even their "consumer" stuff is great.
