Tein basic dampers

i bought some dampers. i slapped them on but they make noises when i hit a bump like somethings loose or im missing something. does anybody know the steps to putting these on, just incase i missed something.

did it come with the installing manual? if not check google for DIY, and how much did you pay for those damper?

I dont know how you could mess this up. You remove the old suspension, and just slide these babies in.

More information on the noises. When do you hear the noises? When you go over speed bumps or pull up a driveway? Is it more pronounced if you go slowly up a driveway? Is it a creaking noise? or metal to metal grinding?

If its a creaking, its probably your upper control arm bushings. If it sounds like you just bottomed out, its probably the UCA's hitting the strut tower.

make sure you tightened everything up properly

Did you tighten the nuts that secure the top hats to the body of the car?
