Probably because I take my engines apart and make sure they're okay before sticking it in

I only paid 1k for the car itself, the rest was spent going through and replacing everything that needed replacing.

Well, roughly $500 was spent on mods, but the rest was repairs.

That's pretty much what the derpstang is now. I still drive it, but not as much because I'm spoiled with my truck.

I'll drive it more when i get the interior swap, fix the ac, and get a good audio setup though.

Better start driving the truck hard so you can blow the slushbox and manual swap it

Maybe... But being a single owner, it was probably well maintained. And with those extras (saddle bags, tank bag, tail bag, etc), you could almost make what money you've spent back. Buell owners tend to pay crazy prices for factory accessories since they're now unobtainium

I mean... You could've had an RC or 1125 by now, but ended up with a bunch of ferds and a broken CBR instead

All 3 ferds, and the cbr would barely get me a clean RC, or an 1125 and 1k worth of gear.

The truck is nice, but I'd have to go out of state to a richer area to get what it's worth.

You said you've spent about 4k on the derpstang. I don't remember what you paid for the truck, but I'm guessing around 1500? Add in 500 for the F4.

I've seen plenty of clean RC's for around 6k
