ignition problem

ok i checked the battery im getting about 12- 12.5 volts, so thats good, its not the fuse. I then took the cap off tried to start the car, but the rotor wouldnt spin. checked the resistance bewtween + and - on coil that was ok and i checked the resistance on the spring and the - on the coil that was good, i couldnt check the icm because i dont have a light probe, but could that be the problem?

nevermind it was the simplest of things it was a loose ground on the battery.... its always the simple things
