Does a test pipe need to be "broken in" before tune?

Hey guys, I'm installing my test pipe today and was planning on getting a retune for it. Can I get a tune as soon as I install it, or is there a "break in" period I need in order to let the pipe give proper flow of air. Maybe burn off some marerial in it when on, can i just leave it idle or drive around for awhile? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I've heard the exhaust tone changes with time but I never noticed mine change. Probably just get used to it.

Who the fuck told you a test pipe, aka A METAL PIPE, needs to be broken in?

It's now your duty to find that person's house, shit in a brown bag, put it on their porch, lite it on fire and ring the door bell.
