S300 issues

Finally bought s300 and got it installed, loaded a basemap to check that everything was working and there's some issues. First off, the sensors will not read in realtime iat,etc. Then, the base map, a usdm p72, which i've been running an actual p72 just fine (limp mode), which starts, but idles at 2-2250rpm. My friend has quite a bit of experience with Hondata (s300 v2) in his racecar and is frustrated that it wont read in realtime and that he can't get the idle to drop. Yeah, from what I had seen you have to turn it on to upload, does that keep it from reading live?

No it shouldnt.
Connect the USB and then start datalogging.

Alright, I'm gonna check all the contacts on the back and make sure they're all soldered correctly

Contacts are all solid and still same problem.

Contacted Hondata and they troublesome with me after I tried another ecu. All is good and I finally got my baby running strong thanks for the input Muckman

So it was the Ecu? bad solder job?

The first ecu I have no clue what the issue was, I believe there was damage to the ecu, friend sold me a p28 cheap and redid the job and final issue was soldering wasn't complete enough, but added more solder and made sure it was clean and all is perfect now.
