Problem with AC after recharge

hey guys. I have a problem. I used one of those recharge kits for my AC (R134a). After I did it, and drove around a bit, the AC that was once cold starting warming up a bit (like my AC button wasn't on) my engine started making funny noises, and there was a rhythmic tap (like, tap.., pause..pause..pause..pause..tap) then it started hesitating and revving somewhat erratically. Any idea what this could be? Its freakin irritating plus theres a heat index of 105F.

Thanks <3

Hook a gauge up on the low side and see how much 134 you have in your system. I fits not enough the compressor wont come on and if its too much the compressor will lock itself up. Also check your A/C switch usually on the accumulator (Im not for sure have to take a second look) or also you might need to recharge the oil in the compressor with PAG oil. But dont over charge it because you'll blow your O-rings. Make sure its not something else before you go blowing your money on a compressor that might not fix the problem.
