B18b1, just replaced water pump, timing set right, everything tdc yada yada let car run for 15 minutes ran absolutely amazing no problems at all, well idled a little high (1100rpm) but that's it and the temp gauge only went up 1/4 of the way before I shut it off.. Then, after a few hours of running errands in a friends car, I come home to get in mine to leave and it just starts dumping thick white smoke out the bottom of the car, all over cause right now I only have exaust to the cat. Also, milky white residue on oil cap, but yet no leak around the head at all. What could this be ?

Milky white on the oil cap sounds like coolant/water in the oil. White smoke or maybe steam sounds like water in the cylinders.

A head gasket can be bad between cylinders and not leak to the outside of the engine. But it could be a cracked water jacket. Good luck.
