Hey Guys,

Now before i get started i am aware that all of the following are at one harness;
Tail lights
Dash lights
Dimmer (technically)
license plate light
ect.

The story:

Basically iv had my teggy for aboutt mmmmmmm 2-3 months now. I'v already had to do alot of tuning up. untill, i ran into this. I believe the amateur wiring of the previous owner on my radio has been causing my lines to short out every once in a while. So basically here n there i would short out and it blew out a fuse; My instrument lights, its a 7.5amp so i replaced it for the time being with a 10 amp fuse (SORRY) and that blew, then since it was dark at the time, i HAD to replace it with a 15amp. And that fuse didnt blow and NONE of the things on that harness was working at all. So, in a panic of that i fried my wires, i replaced all the bulbs and the fuses. STILL not working. I checked my wires. they didn't fry. and besides, its not enough amperage to fry a wire.

So i came on here to ask you guys, Is there a Resistor of some sort under the hood thats not clearly labeled for the harness? is the harness fried? and if the answer is clear, what should i replace?

Thank you for the time of reading this, honestly, its means a whollllleeee lot.

not sure if this will help, but when i installed a head unit in my girl's car, her lights weren't working. i checked all the fuses and relays and got nothing. i took it to get a computer diagnostic and it turned out to be her computer had to be replaced. i would check the wires in the headunit to make sure there's nothing hanging. i learned my lesson that day, learn how to install headunits before actually doing it lol i tried going by common sense and the skill i picked up watching a pro do it once

Get the voltage meter. Then probe your wires that u think is not working. Its a lot of work but that's one way of chasing electrical probs. Check your relay fuses. Or disconnect the battery from negative to positive. Wait 5 to 10 mins then connect the the battery terminals from positive to negative. That will reset your computer. That might work. This method also applies to check engine lights to turn off.
