Possible to clean and reuse vapor canister?

I have a few questions related to this. First off is it possible to actually unscrew and take apart the vapor canister and replace the charcoal? Or is it all welded together so you have to buy a new one?

Also what's the best way to get at and remove the canister and is there anything else I need to be mindful of?

As far as I know its sealed and there is no procedure or need to clean/replace it. You can just unhook the hoses going to it and let them vent to atm. You wont get a CEL but the EVAP monitor will not set (if you reset your Ecu).

Well crap I figured. I'll just leave it alone, I cleaned the purge valve on the manifold. Thanks for saving my time!
