Honda emblem badge SCREW UP .. how to fix

ok while trying to put on the emblem i wiped the emblem already on the car with Goof off (better form of goo gone) and made a layer of shit looking white material all scratchy and i dont know how to get it off.. worse comes to worse i will take the fukin emblem off and get a new 1 but fuck that.
anyone have any ideas suggestio9ns.. i already tried using rubbing alcohol, polished, water, soap

It looks like goop or something like excess glue. Like Jim said i would take it off and clean it off. You won't burn through the paint unless your not careful.

Edit: You mean the white stuff on the face of the emblem or the stuff around the edges of it?

I think if you took some compound to it and let the buffer do the work with NO pressure im sure it would come off.

if you got goof off on it ...it actually started to distort and meltaway the plastic...thats why goo gone is better......your gonna need a new emblem
