Where should I run stereo cables?

So, I took all the wiring out for my head unit and amp, from my previous vehicle (01 Pontiac Grand Prix). Hopefully within the next few weeks, I will be buying a newer head unit for my Teg, and I need tips on where to run cables from:

1. The battery (power) to the amp.
2. Head unit (sound) to amp.

Also, can anyone suggest a good box for two 12's? I currently have two separate boxes for each sub.

RCA cables along the driver-side, Power along the passenger side. There is a grommet behind the battery that you can use to feed the power wire into the car.
