fastest ive gone and actually saw the speedo was in my friends evo, did 145, but last night me and my bro were going to the casino and a 350z comes up next to us, he gives it some gas and gets in front of us. so my brother gets back next to him and down shifts. 350 takes off and so does kevin, ended up doing 5 runs, everytime kevin beat him. and we had a carload of people. on the last run we slowed down to like 50, did 3 honks and took off, i remeber looking at the speedo and seeing it wraping around. and the EK speedo stops at 130. so we might have been doing 140 or so. the plates on the Z said SOOSIK, so if anyone knows of him, whats done to it? seemed pretty quick.

Holy crap that's fast! Should've gone 3mph faster. Lol!
Funny thing was that I didn't even know how fast I was going till the exit came up and I looked down. Then I tried to slow for the exit and completely blew past it. Yea I didn't really like the feeling, I'd much rather be going that fast in a car. I did do a little over 180 in a 911 turbo, that felt great. I don't like feeling like I'm going to die when I'm going that fast. The MS3 is great, I could cruise at 155 all day and never know the difference. Smooth as a baby's behind.

I don't see what the difference between touging your car through a windy mountain road at 80+mph or running your car on a completly empty straight highway at 150+mph. Your taking a chance of crashing either way. Thats life imo, just don't endanger innocent by-standards.

Twisty road runs are much more dangerous. Any minor slip up running hard through a fast, off camber corner can get very serious, very quick! Driving fast down a straight flat road doesn't require much thought
