i know, but why put a cable tranny? where in he can simply replace it with a LS hydro tranny with no other modifications needed. get it? plus it's like downgrading your transmission..

me? i did.. and i have change of plans, instead of swapping a Vtec head on my block my friend sold me his LS/Vtec engine for a good price. comes with tranny, harness,ECU,mounts too...

As for B18A1 motors, what is different with '90-91 models from '92-93 models.
The horsepower specs are deceiving because one is 130@6000 and the other is 140@6300.
Are these peak output numbers ?
What is horse power for '90-91 models at 6300 ?
Or at 7200 for that matter. The rev limiter is easy to hit in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

grave digger!!!!!! lol you can do lsv with either block. They are essentially the same. The reliability all depends on how you or whoever builds the motor and if you use quality parts....
