Front end: DIY or Shop?

My driver's side headlight doesn't sit flush with my bumper or hood. I'm contemplating taking it to a shop versus trying to bang the hood and bumper into place on my own. Anyone have any experience with DIY body work or should I just take it to someone who actually knows what they're doing?

Here's what I'm talking about:

I wouldnt do anything until you take it apart and see if anything is missing or broken. Missing tabs or broken bolts can cause this. Then try adjusting the body panels to get the gap correct.
That's also a good time to look for damage to the unibody and go from there.

Thanks for the input. When I get the car back from my mechanic I'll take it apart and see what's going on
