So I just bought a 98 LS. When I am driving and when it is supposed to be at normal operating temperature, the gauge is reading that it is well below operating temp. At first I thought it was the thermostat. I replaced that, the issue is still there. Then I replaced the water temperature sensor, and the issue is still there. Then I thought it was just the gauge, but I realized that the fans don't ever turn on. Right now I have a paper clip shorting the fans so I can at least drive it. What could this issue be? I have the fans shorted on the radiator fan switch connection. Could my issue be the radiator fan switch? Does that switch control the gauge?
