Anyway, I personally will never own a volkswagen but yours looks good man. Also replace your damn headlight, it's not worth the cosmetic loss. :)
:rolf: It does look cleaner with the headlight in, but I'm taking it back out since I'm probably gunna head up to the track again this weekend to see if I can better my time....

I'll try to get the bigger pics up ASAP.

A heavy jetta with 200 hp running 12s?????? Thats crazy man. My friend ran 13.1 in a bone stock 300 hp STI. And that was impressive. So a jetta with 200 hp running 12s sounds retarded to me. Theres 500 hp corvettes and supras running in the 11s MAYBE. someone please show me a 200 hp jetta running at least 12.9999999999999

Heavy jetta? They weight like 2800lbs. And yes. With certain mods, these things open up and gain considerable power. You gotta stop looking @ crank hp. That means nothing. That 13.1 second Jetta VR6 had 200WHP, and your buds STi has only 220-230 whp and parasitic drivetrain loss @ topend.

It wasn't stock. Cams, chipped, ported head, intake, header, exhaust, ignition, etc. It is N/A. I can link to the other forum of this guy. My Jetta will be lucky to hit mid 14's. Which I unfortunately didn't get to see. Motor mounts went out and I was planning on taking it to the track last Sat. :(

2800lbs is heavy. My GSR weighs 2500lbs and has over 200whp. I'll be glad if I hit 12's.

You want heavy? The new R35 Nissan GT-R is heavy. 3800lbs. That's heavy lol. Thats a freaking tank. Anyway, well I dunno what it is, the VR6 is just really efficient. Same hp as a GSR and heavier, yet it's considerably faster. Is your GSR n/a or boosted???

The jetta weighs the same as a gsr stock for stock and the jetta has a v6 with more torque. That's why it is slightly faster in the 1/4. My gsr is n/a.

Cool, I love n/a cars, they are so awesome.

a jetta doesn't weight the same! Integra's are so much lighter! 2500lbs > 2800-3000lbs..... Torque is awesome by the way. The thing is, my VR6's torque is different... Even with 173ft-lbs it still doesn't kick power in until 4k rpms, kinda like VTEC... It actually boggs down in the lower rpms range.... but when it hits the powerband, boy it hits the powerband. :D

173tq...i make that at idle
lol, it sure as hell beats the 120-140tq from a Honda though. Yeah the VR6 motor could have been designed better, but there's almost no motor without it's flaws... It may only have 172hp/173tq, but it's sure enough to take down things with well over 240-250hp/tq. (like 350z's) :D
