OMG it has VTEC?
Name of exhaust: 2.5 Flowmaster chambered muffler

Cost: After custom pipes, muffler, resonator and install it was around 300 it was all put together in order though

Year/Model/Motor: 1995/Integra Gsr/ B18C1

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: AEM short ram, stock, stock

Your Impression: First it was just straight piped fun for about a week, got the muffler with no resonator sounded like rasp, got resonator and it sounds really good in my opinion deepest I have heard on a honda in town and its not to loud. I just wish I would not have gotten 2.5 inch pipes, loud drone on highways. I want louder now so as soon as possible I am getting an N1 muffler welded on

Pros: Sounds good, Looks stock, Nice and flush

Cons: Drone from it being too large

Overall Rating: (1-5) 1=sucks ass 5=FTMFW!: I give it a 4

Pictures (optional): I will edit and add one close up tomorrow

Videos(Optional): If its not snowing and windy I will get one tomorrow

Name of exhaust: [Mugen B pipe + obx twin loop

Cost: $250 + extra fee installation labor @ the muffler shop.[veries for where you get your welding done]

Year/Model/Motor:
1999 integra gsr b18c1

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: Cold air intake generic
Stock headers
stock cat.
Mugen B-pipe
2.5 inlet obx TwinLoop 3" outlet

Your Impression:

I was aiming for something with a low tone like the WS2. I looked up the obx twin loop and saw good reviews on forums, although I never saw any good videos or sound clips of it. I wasn't sure what it would sound like, so I was kinda aiming blind site with the set up i bought. When I got it installed I was satisfied with the pieces I choose.

Pros: Silent, slightly more power, it was really cheap compared to everyone else.
Cons:obx twinloop - you have get it welded@ a shop, the flange that goes over the right lca doesn't come with the twinloop. you need it fabricated for your twinloop inlet size.

Overall Rating:
(1-5) 1=sucks ass 5=FTMFW!
5 only because i was surprised of the result

Review:

Magnaflow Catback system (MANDREL BENT 2 1/4). I did on my bros car few weeks ago. Just go around uploading the video. Hope you boys like it..

Price: $460-500

Mods: All stock, Cat, Header, Intake.

Video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gropcn2flJg Magnaflow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2d5c8Pid stock

notes:

A hella of a difference from stock. About 20lbs shaved off the car from stock. I felt a lot of gains in the Mid range power band. Has the stock gsr cat, intake and header. What an increase in performance. Check it out before and after. Change the restrictive OEM piping asap. This magnaflow was a perfect bolt on Exhaust system. Took about an hour and change up was fast. Goes for about $460-500. Well worth the money, plus it's made in USA with lifetime warranty.

Check out the videos. I am selling mine..Check market place..Best deal on earth!

Here are pics. Also attached a video of exhaust from my brothers car.

Brand/Model: HKS Hi Power Cat Back

Cost:
Free 99, retail is about $550

Year/Model/Motor:
1996 Acura Integra LS

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup:
Greddy 4-2-1 Header
Blox Test Pipe
HKS Hi Power

Your Impression:

At first i only wanted to do it because i had a gsr header on and the ls piping was too short on my greddy sp2. but i absolutly loved that exhaust and couldnt ask for another one. End of story there is no better exhaust, no sexier tone...well except for mugen and spoon ones but damn, it was a good exhaust.

Pros:
minimal bends in the piping
sounds sexy time
cheap for a cat back
N1 styled

Cons:
its an under axle exhaust so you will scrape over speed bumps
its loud as fuck
you will scrape
its only sold in a 2.36" piping diameter

Overall Rating:

4

Exhaust: Magnaflow Catback Exhaust

Cost:Gift from the gf (used)

Year/Model/Motor: 1995 Acura Integra GSR

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup:
  • Intake - 3" eBay Short Ram Intake + K&N Filter
  • Header - OEM Header
  • Intake Manifold - OEM Intake Manifold
  • Catalytic Converter - OEM Cat
Pros:
  • Noticable response in the throttle
  • Breathes better
  • Very quiet in the car
  • Sits just right
  • Not too flashy
  • Nice, deep hum
  • Not too loud
  • Not too quiet
  • VTEC engages a little lounder
Cons:
  • Dented muffler (got it like that)
Impression: I was it expecting it to be louder than it was. I wanted it to be louder, but after driving around with it, it's perfect. I definitely felt a difference because there was better throttle response. The car seemed to breathe a lot better. I can also feel a very slight power increase in higher RPM's. I can't hear it at all in the car. I still want to see how it sounds from the outside.

Overall Rating: 4

Reddit is fun.
Name of exhaust: Skunk2 Megapower (60mm) Exhaust

Cost: $450 Shipped

Year/Model/Motor: 1995 Integra SE (LS) B18B1

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: AEM Short Ram Intake/DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Header/OEM Cat

Your Impression: I installed it with the silencer in immediately for about a week straight. I really did enjoy the sound of the silencer (video below). Sheriffs in my area are dicks, so silencer stays in. When I finally decided to take the silencer out, I really heard/felt this baby open up. A clean, deep roar when in high RPMs and sounds great at idle too.

Pros: Deep, Loud, Breaths a lot better, Looks sexy, Noticeable gains

Cons: Loud, Very loud, Did I mention it's LOUD? The drone on the freeway gives me a headache everytime I drive without the silencer. Should be okay as long as I keep it under 3k RPM on the streets.

Overall Rating: I would give this a 4. It's better than I expected (even after all my research), but it's loud aggessiveness causes it to fall short from perfect.

Pros: deep, moderately loud, no drone on the freeway/streets, fills in the rear bumper nicely

Overall Rating: i would give this a 5 because it was spot-on on what i was looking for

Name of exhaust: Skunk 2 MegaPower (60mm)

Cost: $485

Year/Model/Motor: 1996/GsR/JDM B18c

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: AEM Short Ram/DC 4-1 Header/Skunk2 high flow cat

Your Impression: As long as you shift around 2500 rpm's you won't hear it otherwise, alert the local media any time you get on it slightly even with the silencer. I welded the silencer in since I have a kid and you can still hear me from 2 to 3 blocks away unless granny shifting. Sounds good when your getting on it, good tone, sounds aggressive.

Pros: looks good, sounds good

Cons: loud as fawk

Overall Rating: (1-5) 1=sucks ass 5=FTMFW! 4 due to how loud she be

Name of exhaust: Buddy Club Pro Spec

Cost: $540 shipped (evasive motorsports)

Year/Model/Motor: 1994 Integra LS

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: All stock(for now)

Your Impression: Packing of exhaust was VERY poor. My exhaust had 3 dents on it from shipping, which kind of pissed me off considering Buddy Club’s rep for quality products(also sent wrong exhaust strap hanger. Vendor said that they’ll get with Buddy Club for replacement. Sent pics, see how that unfolds). Exhaust did however sound AMAZING. Low at idle, deeper and louder thru 4th gear and at 60mph in 5th the tone subsided and was drivable at highway speeds.

*Update: Apparently the “rep for BC” informed me that the exhaust strap hanger is correct. If you care about asthetics, pass on this exhaust*

Pros: light weight / beautiful welds / exhaust note

Cons: Exhaust Strap Hanger looks terrible / Pipe near rear axle hangs a little low for my taste / sound and tone might not be for everyone

Overall Rating: 4.5

JDMxDB8

Raceline USA
Brand/Model: Skunk2 Racing Mega Power cat-back exhaust system

Cost: $450.00

Year/Model/Motor: 1994 Integra LS Hatchback/JDM B20B

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup:
AEM 3" ITR cold air intake system
DC Sports ceramic 4-1 one-piece header
Skunk2 Racing test pipe

Your Impression:
One of the main reasons why I went with the Skunk2 Racing Mega Power cat-back exhaust system is the sound note. Having watched numerous videos of the Mega Power on YouTube, making the decision was easy. Since I was already planning on getting the Skunk2 Racing test pipe, I figured that I might as well keep it consistent. So far, I've been loving it and haven't come across any problems.

Pros:
Inexpensive
Sexy exhaust note
Straight-through design

Cons:

Overall Rating: 5

Name of exhaust: Yonaka cat back

Cost: $239

Year/Model/Motor: 99 / Gs / B18b1

Intake/Header/Catalytic Converter Setup: DC Sports CAI / Stock

Your Impression: Awesome for the price, sounded great with the stock intake, even better with the new CAI. It is never too loud, deep throaty sound. When I floor it I can still here the engine over the exhaust, purrs quietly on the highway.

Pros: Cheap, perfect sound, stainless steel, bolts up perfectly.

Cons: Some of the welds are starting to rust after a year (lathered them up with clear enamel), the tip is a too big and a bit gaudy. If you don't want the welds to rust, spray paint them with clear enamel before you install it.

Overall Rating: (1-5) 1=sucks ass 5=FTMFW! 4

Custom 2.25" piping

Your Impression:
I wanted a louder exhaust. I threw I purchased it from JDMxDB8 and i loved it. Its nice and loud and sounds awesome when youre on the power. Pretty loud cruising as well. I started to change it back and forth between tracks as this will not pass Thunderhill's 103 dB limit. The muffler is actually being reused on a Miata now.

Pros:
sounds nice
cheap

Cons:
wont pass sound at any Nor Cal track.

My original exhaust. Its awesome. Super quiet now with the Alpha header. I like it, i was able to hold a conversation the entire way to Thunderhill with my buddy the other week. Passes sound no problem. I like the deep sound, you hear more of the motor with this exhaust rather than just the exhaust. I think its one of the best sounding exhausts for the Integra.

cheap
passes sound levels
