After getting the swap, obviously the LS gauge cluster doesnt have all the right RPMS or anything for the motor. Generally do you swap in an ITR cluster? And how's the wiring for that?

you can leave the ls cluster...it reads it off of the distributor...grant it an ls cluster runs out of RPM's just cuz it goes only to 8500, but i mean you dont have to...i have a b20vtec that revs to 9k and i still have a stock cluster (though i have a shift light)

You can wire up a new tachometer too. That's probably the simplest solution. Just don't buy a 10" ricer tach haha.

Nothing changes except your redline. Its your job to know what that redline is. You dont have to change the cluster, but if it makes you feel better, sure.

Yeah.. I just kinda want to avoid using another tachometer. Figure I'd go for a clean setup. How's the wiring for that? Or is it plug and play?
