Need Help With Axle Removal

I took the axel bolts off and took the cotter pin and castle nut from the LCA.. I need help on how to separate the lca from the hub assembly.


as you can see ive got a pickel fork in there and its still not moving

i tried using a jack to push up on the castle nut and its still not separating from the lca

can someone tell me what they did to take it off?

You gotta make sure you have the pickle fork in there good and get yourself a 3 pound hammer if you have one and hit that shit hard..the leverage should pop that out..Just keepin bangin..make sure you don't rip the rubber boot around the joint

How long is the pickle fork? If only a foot or so, put a pipe on the end, to extend the length...Leverage is a great thing. Popped them off an EK hatch last week. Beat the shit out of the pry bar. Didn't budge. Got pissed and started pulling. Didn't just keep pulling up as hard as I could. More like short, quick, upward force. Kinda a jackhammer I guess? Pry bar was 3 to 4 foot long. Get mad at it man. Good luck.
