Default Bought 98 Teg GS--Pics Added 10/29

Ok well I picked up the car today and sent it to my parents so I can go down there and clean it up real good and detail everything on it. I will need to replace the front tires and replace the antenna during this time. There are some pics in my other thread titled is this a good deal on a 98GS. I will probably take some more B4 pics tomorrow and post them and keep updating with pics to see how she comes along.

If anyone has an ash tray for the rear I would be interested purchasing it ( Beige). I know I will probably end up getting the factory style fogs for the front also.

Mainly I would like to thank everyone for their help and advice this week as I posted questions seeking advice and help. I look forward to be a long time member of this site.

Definitely gonna get her clean over the next couple of weeks. I will most likely do a drop and some rims and tint thats about it. Its not gonna be fast no matter what I do since its a GS so I'm just going for a clean look and good handling. There are a few items i need to replace like antenna bakc ashtray and i need to see what i can do to make the quarter windows molding look better, any ideas?

I'll replace headlight bulbs of course and probably factory fogs, maybe an intake if I can decide on a good one.

well if ur gonna get new rims, wutcha gonna do with the old ones , be happy to take em off ya, anyways you can make any car fast, just depends on how much ya wanna spend, well good luck, o and its better to have a messed up interior then messed up exterior (i have good interior and messed up exterior) because exterior parts cost an arm and a leg, good clean car, cept for ya kno ur seat, but u can pick up seats for cheap

I May get rims later. Gotta get tires for the front first just for it to past inspection. The ones on it are Bald as me. I can decide what size tire to put on the factories. What do most people run on factory rims? I'll keep them for winter use if I get othere rims also, sorry.
Yea it took a while to clean the engine bay and the hood. I dont think he ever did that before or waxed the car. I took a Brilo Pad to the exhaust tip also to clean that up.
The spoiler needed to be waxed so I took it off to clean where it was mounted at and to be able to get under it better and hit it with a power buffer on the trunk lid.

I'd like to do mods but it will be hard to get it alot over 200hp but its mainly a daily driver so i'll keep it looking good and handling good. My pockets are fine I just dont see myself dumping a bunch into the engine on this when it wont get in the 11's or even 12's.

I think if i can get it too handle good and look good, i'll be content
