Default OK I'm GOING TURBO GREDDY STYLE..

Ok guys I've decided to purchase a greddy kit with a greddy intercooler. I'm also getting 50 shot nos, and I'm gonna go skunk2 coilovers and greddy sway bar.I have some questions though..........how much for a good gauge set up? one that keeps tabs on oil, boost, air/fuel. Question 2: since the greddy kit does not come with a turbo timer how long do I have to let my car idle for when im done driving? Question 3:What oil do I have to use now? My car now has 80,456 miles. I bought it with 73,000...just a couple months ago..I LOVE MY TEG...Question 4: Why do the nicer looking Volk wheels come in 17 and 18 up. I just want 15's! 16's at the max. THANKS !!!!!

good gauges can hit you up for a pretty penny. The boost gauge, and oil pressure are the more expensive gauges, and air/fuel gauges are cheap. the boost can hit you up for 100- 250 and the same with oil pressure. Of course there is always a cheap way out but most of the cheaper gauges i've seen crap out on people early in the game. Oh just a suggestion, check out Johnnyracecar.com for your intercooler....it'll save you a ton of money unless you just gotta have the Greddy. Idle times....from a long or had run on your car...1- 2 minutes is sufficient. Also, its good to let your car warm up with the turbo as well. for Oil....if you're not using a synthetic Oil, you should...it'll smooth everything out and better lube your turbo. It wont break down as easily under the high temp.
Finally the more nice rims are soo big because of the G35, S2000, 350Z, RSX-S....basically all of the new sport model vehicles with the larger and wider wheel wells!

the Greddy package gives you everything you need to be turbocharged and run effeciently ( @ the suggested 5-8 psi) The intercooler provides a higher level of cooling through the charge pipes and helps your turbo run more efficiently, and smooths out the powerband. It becomes neccessary at higher levels of boost only because you dont want to feed your engine a massive load of HOT air. The turbo itself generates enough hot air and at a fast rate, so when you turn up the boost you tend to make too much hot air which "can" cause a problem down the road. So an intercooler is not neccessary but its smart to use one. At the low level of boost 5-8 psi its not needed.
ALso remember that when you do add an intercooler, you're boost will automatically increase, unless you have a boost controller and you can regulate the boost yourself.

Please get a wideband air/fuel guage. As for the price, it all depends on design a basic design would be $60-$100 for each guage.

Just buy a turbo timer, you can buy the Greddy one for $89

A intercooler is everything CHILD said (good explanation CHILD)

Ive seen Volk's in all sizes, check this site here http://www.gmpperformance.com/index...._list&MFGID=11

Lightbulb

oh heres my dilemma which way should i go:

A
Greddy Turbo Kit
Greddy intercooler
Skunk 2 Coilovers
Skunk 2 front and rear strut bars
Dyno Tuning

B
Skunk 2 Coilovers
Skunk 2 Intake Manifold
Skunk 2 front and rear strut bars
nos 55 shot with bottle warmer, purge kit,and new fuel pump
exedy lightweight flywheel
exedy clutch stage 1
volk 15's or Work 15's in gunmetal wrapped in falkensss.
alarm
new headunit,speakers
further down the road maybe a paint job.

I'm no longer leaning towards my new contact that I made saturday night. I dont trust jdm engines and I want to stay legal. f*** vtec it'll be on my next car in 2-3 years. yes an s2000. anyways which way should i lean to for daily reliablity? I drive 60 miles total daily both ways to work. I'm keeping my full interior. And no im not going ls-vtec. those things are nice but if you f*** up with a shift hope you got some money set aside to fix it. Also I know going turbo will get me mid to low 13's. do you think i can hit 13's with choice b ...later on i will add camshafts, port n polish the head, and maybe stroke my b18badass out. Thanks guys.......CHILD i'm waiting..lol

A cause nitrous isnt power. Nitrous is heroin for your car, you ever see a heroin addict that ran right?
