Hey everyone,

So this is an exciting time here at TWM Performance with all of these new finishes being released. First the Black Pearl, then the Anthracite, and now we have 2 NEW colors for you! Having said that we have a slight issue here at TWM. We seem to have ran into a slight creative block and are unable to come up with any names for these new coatings that do justice to their awesomeness. So we decided to turn to YOU!

Basically, we are running this thread over all of the forums we’re on in search for the perfect names for these two finishes. In 1.5 weeks time, (July 21st 2010) we will close the threads and go over all of the entries. Out of these, we will select one name for each of the finishes and the user that came up with the name will WIN a FREE weighted TWM Performance Shift Knob (any design, and either the two new colors, stainless, satin, Gun metal, or Flat black).

Like any competition, here are the rules:

1. You are not limited to the number of entries you can make! So let your creative juices flow!
2. We will only be picking 1 name for each of the two finishes. This means a total of 2 people will win a free shift knob (not necessarily on this forum).
3. Please keep all entries professional and clean
4. Entries must be done in the thread

So that’s it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!

Remember, it's the color that we need a name for and not the shift knob design!

First of all, TWM would like to thank everyone for their participation! You've all come up with some fantastic ideas and I'm sure we'll be able to find 2 winners out of all the posts over all of the forums.

Having said that, we didn't expect the threads to be this popular and to have this many entries so fast (some threads on some forums growing to over 10 pages in mere hours). So in order to not drown ourselves in entries, we're going to stop the contest as of this post! We will be collecting all of the names and ideas, and going over the entries tomorrow. So after tallying up all of the entries and then finally choosing a name, we have come up with two winners! It's important to note that the names that we chose were brought up by a couple of people, so we had to go by the person that posted the name first.
