Default 99 GS-R everything stock Need more HP and TQ

I just bought a 99 GS-R and i want to race it in autocross. But i need to make a lot of modifications to my car. If you could help me i would appreciate it very much. Also if you give a suggestion could you please include the price. Thanks

Depends on whether you stay N/A or whether you boost. When you boost, it depends how much boost you want. Pick a goal for how much power you want, and then we can kind of guide you in the direction of the components you'll need to get there.

also my trunk is not opening at all. i have tried almost everything but it just makes a noise and doesn't open. any ideas?

Hey I'm new to the forum, but I have a 98 gs-r 2dr and it took me a second to figure out the hatch. I have to turn the key all the way and hold it there, then pull the release while holding the key all the way turned. It seems weird if that is the actual design though, so it could be something else not sure. Best of luck

turbo Isn't very god for track, SC is better, but on the street youll regret the SC

5-7 psi is the max you want to push on your gsr because it is a high compression motor.

you do relise that you can unlock the car via the unlock door switch inside the car and there is a lever under the hatch. but no need to put anything back there. save weight

you are wrong my friend my sc runs 11psi in first and 9psi in all other gears and im not done uping the boost. in addition i can go in my glovebox and turn the boost up 3-7 pounds

are you doing scca auto x? remember your classes when you auto x some modifications will push uou out of your bracket
