Default Matt's Project DC4

Hello everyone,

I just picked up this 1994 Integra LS Hatchback from my cousin-in-law on Saturday. To make things short, she was stolen a month ago, then was recovered two weeks ago. Not wanting to see her crushed or parted out, he gave me a offer I couldn't refuse and decided to pick her up. So far, she runs okay, but needs a bit of TLC. I know she's not much of a looker now, but just wait and see the progress of transformation. You guys won't be disappointed.

The Plan: To build the DC4 for time attack. I plan to compete in the various time attack events, but my main focus is Super Lap Battle and the Super Street FF Battle. I will be running in the street tire class. Game on.

Phase II: On-track testing

I took DJ out to do some testing at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on Sunday, August 26, 2012. I managed to do a 2:14.XXX, which was a new PB (Personal Best)! Not bad for being my first time tracking her and still using old OEM brakes.

I'm planning on installing new brake pads, rotors, lines, and fluid before my next track day at Thunderhill Raceway Park on Friday, October 12, 2012. It's a little over a month away, so I have a lot to do before then. It's going to be fun!

Everyone, please say hello to Daisy Joy AKA DJ.

The massive pictures creates the illusion of it being a bigger signature. Haha!

Thanks Mark! My long term plans are to transform her into a competitive time attack machine in the street FWD class.

Yeah man, I'm excited to do some testing once I get the B18C1 installed and suspension all dialed in.

They're from the ED8, which my friend decided to take back. It's all good though, because I'd rather have an Integra. Thanks bro! I'll do my very best to get her track for some track time.

It's not a comeback, I never left. I just took a little break.
