Antenna power issue

Recently I installed a Kenwood KDC X395 into my teg, but now the radio reception is spotty. After diagnosis I found the antenna motor isn't getting powered on, so the antenna stays down. Is there a way to reroute the power wire to the antenna motor to a manual switch inside the cab so I can make the antenna go up and down as needed?

Are you sure you wires up the power antenna wire properly durinf the radio install? I'd check that before going through a much more elaborate process of wiring up a toggle switch to make it work. The typical color of the power antenna wire from an aftermarket radio is blue with a white stripe. Did you hook that wire up?
