Default Problem After Problem? Help Plz....

Can Anyone Help Out Or Any Ideas Will Be Great?...

Well I Recently Had Got My Car A Acura Integra 1992 Gs.......

I Been Having A Problem In Sunny/Hot days When The Sun Is Hitting The Top Hood Of My Car I Get In the car put the car in the ON position and i have to wait till fuel pump primes and CEL takes off its annoying just becuz sometimes i have to wait like 30 seconds,3mins,5mins,10mins,30mins........and once the CEL clicks and takes off i can start my car without a problem.....i changed the main relay,new distrubutor,cleaned terminals,fixed battery wiring,checked fuel pump works.....idk what else it can be maybe a sensor or a wire or a fuse idk what else it can be? help.........oyeah and at night/fresh no sun it turns on like nothings wrong with no prob....CEL takes off fast without a problm...the problem i have is when its hot/sunny..


thnks any help will be great....i been trying to figure out the prob for 2 weeks

Melted wiring?, next time its hot out take off the gas cap and see if there is suction in the tank

[Edit] btw the 2 have nothing to do with each other

but i checked the wiring from battery and other terminals looked fine i even cleaned yestrday and everything..and yes the suction gas cap u unscrew it and it makes da sound..........

what wiring/wires shuld i look at?? that can maybe have a problm with my car starting in hot days....

Did you check the wiring to the fuel injectors? sometimes in heat certain wiring gets kinda gooey and just f's everything up

i gotta chek dat out tomorrow......anything else i shuld look at besides dat??

cuz the car takes time in the day at night it turns on perfect which annoys me

yeah i replaced the battery.....and its the same thing...cleaned the wires of it and everything......

i also did the paper clip method to see if it threw out codes on the dashboard and NO code what so ever it threw out...so its proly a small prob. but i cant seem to find itt......

Hopefully someone more useful will check out this thread, You should try honda tech, someone there might be more capable of helping you out

i keep reading in alot of forums that every one can hear the pump kick on. you need to actually test the fuel pressure. you need to monitor how it is priming. how is the pressure holding. if you have visually inspected the vehicle 20 times ovedr than you need to test things. temp will change how your pump works or if their is a bad seal in the pump and isnt retaining pressure when the key goes off then its going to take longer to start. as the temp goes down the seals will contract and hold better. fuel is the only lubricant in your pump and fuel reacts differently to temp also.
