ignition cylinder is messed up

Ive got a 91 integra. My key goes in half way..starts, but wont turn all the way to the off position. It stays with the accessory on and drains my car battery. Do i need to replace the ignition swith or just the lock assembly? Or both?

I was able to tinker with the ignition lock and get it working..i jump started the car (dead battery). Took it for a 10 min drive. Let the car sit for an hour or so and the battery is dead again. My question is, was that long enough of drive time to charge a completely dead battery? Or could it possibly be the alternator not charging it. Ignition wire or still the ignition lock? Im puzzled at what it could be. I bought the car this way thinking it was the ignition lock. Because it wouldent go off past accessory. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
