Why do my belts squeal?

just got engine rebuild and belts and what not the whole thing....hit 1500 miles on the rebuild and opened it up and it was runnin great but now when im at a stop idling it screams like a belt is slippin so i dono if it could be the bearings in one of the pully's or what....any ideas

maybe it's too tight? check for adjustment.

They could be 2 tight or a pulley bearings are shot. I would probably go w/ 2 tight since you just got a rebuild. If so it's a fairly quick fix, good luck.
