    Quoted for truth. You will be as you have been. In the end its your money and preferences but my 2cents would be rebild yourself if possible labor is whats going to cost you not much on the parts. Plus you get to bond with your car and learn to respect, listen to, and be able to take care...

    Im not 100% sure but isnt normal operating water temp 200 +-30~50°F (guess) In that case a sensor is bad because almost 200° over normal op temp should have blown the cap due to pressure, messed up your head gasket and depending on how your running warping your head and maybe bad piston...

    The last place too check the vin would be on the fire wall next to the battery and fuel filter. I have a db7 95ls nonvtec it's an automatic trans. Yours is standard(vtec or non)?

    :???: Battery/ground test? That sounds very odd Unless you busted something on the inside from running it cold? Where was your oil level? compression loss(besides the obvious cold start kind)?

    :lol: The guy at AutoZone is correct. Disks all around, Why would you think drum breaks is well beyond me, but I'm sure no one with a sane mind would cut off disk breaks for drums. Anyways it should be obvious. :???: right :roll:

    Local auto parts store. A little more $$ but those come with a lifetime warranty, and usually a core charge (get some money back) just go ask you're not obligated to buy.
