Hello everyone!
My brother has a 1992 Acura Integra. It is a B-18 motor with a Automatic Trans. At the top of the trans, where the trans line comes from the radiator back into the top of the trans there was a leak. There is a large 17mm bolt here that holds this line directly to the top of the trans. The line wraps around this bolt, and the trans fluid goes through a slightly-larger than pin hole that runs through this 17mm bolt. The bolt was loose. We tightened it up pretty well. It appears to be leaking slightly. Does this large 17mm bolt require teflon tape or something else to prevent leakage? I personally do not know. I've read that the teflon tape is made for tapered threads, and do not know if the threads on this bolt are tapered.
