Amp kill switch

So I'm wanting to put in a kill switch for my amp. More than likely I'll just use a spot by the e brake but I was wondering if I could use a dash button like the A/C switch?I don't use it anymore and it would look better than a toggle

you could use any switch you want, the a/c one will be harder to use because of the way the switch is wired and its location
