Annoying squeak in dash

Hey everyone I got this annoying squeak coming from behind the gadgets cluster it seems, and it only happens from 10mph and up. My friend says that it could be a cable that goes from the speedometer to the transmission. You can't hear it from the outside but it's very annoying. Please help, and sorry if this post is in the wrong spot... :???:

you can search it up ..but you can disconnect it where it goes into the spedo sensor on the transmission and pull the cable out slowly from there...this is after youve unhooked it from the cluster of course.. then just clean it put some grease and slide it back in
