Just beware, it's gonna take a good while to get the technique down with the socket. You can't just loosen the nut, screw the screw down to spec and retighten, you'll have to leave it a bit loose so that when you tighten the nut it goes down to spec. Like I said, it's an art form to do it clean and precise. :lol:

I may just say screw it and take it to my town shop and have it done. I dont want to fuck anything up. I dont even want to drive it with the chatter. Its not extremely loud but its noticeable.

Your machine shop did not set the valve lash for you. For them to do that they would need to have the cams installed and timed with the crank (timing belt installed). In other words they would have needed to have the entire engine to make it possible. Valve lash is def something that you need to check before throwing parts at this.
