Hey guys, so for about two months now my battery light has been on. The car starts up every time i turn it over and I've been driving it every day with no issues.. I've had the alternator and battery tested at autozone and everything checks out good. I've tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it to see if it would go away but its still on.. could there be a short somewhere??

I believe the battery light is simply a volt meter that comes on less than a set voltage. Maybe <13volts. I would still suspect your alternator may be bad. Does the light go away when you rev the engine? Put a multimeter on the battery pos and neg when the engine is running, it should be 14v.

Check all of your connections, I've got an EK sedan that the battery connections are a little worn out but still clamp down ok. The light comes on when your idling at a stop.
