Hey guys just wondering what would be the best size exhaust pipes. I have a stock header(for now), no restonator, and a stock cat, and a apexi dunk muffler. The reason I am wondering is because theres no way im paying $500 plus for exhaust when I can weild myself. So yeah I was wondering what would be the best size. Its a GS sedan.

Also make sure it's going to a good quality muffler. Spoon, RS*R, A'pexi, HKS, some Greddy.

If you plan on only running intake/header aim for something like 2.25 - 2.36 (type r size).

i think 2.5 is to big for a stock engine. If it has a nice cam and its breathing more than 2.5 is ok. if i were you go with a nice header, catless, oem Resonator with full 2.36 or even 2.25 Piping.

For a non-VTEC, if all you plan on doing is I/H/E, don't go larger than 2.38. Get 2.25 if you shooting for a lower end/midrange powerband. 2.5 would be too big.
