Blower motor problems...

Just replaced my blower motor (finally, HEAT!!!) and the motor is only working on one setting, high. No complaints, but gets kind of annoying and loud after a while... Did I wire something up incorrectly? Or is it the resistor? Thanks guys.

No, only works on high. That's the problem. I'm pretty sure this is a resistor problem...

oh oh oh gotcha and ya sounds like it. Mine doesn't work at the lowest setting and I haven't bothered to figure out why. I got too many other problems haha

well that's not my only problem. it's starting to squeal like it did before the other one stopped working. I have a video that I'll post in a few...

Thats exactly what mine does. It sounds like its already bad

My S10 always used to make ta sound close to that. Could it be the bearings?

the bearings on what? the motor is brand new..

It sounds mechanical. How is the fan blade mounted on there? Is it screwed?
