Caliper piston AND shift linkage

My caliper piston froze up and i did a brake job on the front ( Caliper, rotoe, pads) and tonight my left caliper just froze up i imagine i need a new piston, is this an easy process for an amature? also my shift linkage came loose from the transmission side, i dont think its possible the bitch pin came loose but that may be the case, lemme know what the procedure is thanks guys!!!

the caliper is really easy to replace. you need to get under the car and see what actually has come undone before any one can really tell you how hard for it to do.
