can i put a 1990 ls tranny in a 94 integra or do i need a hydro tranny? please help

i am getting a 1990 integra but i am planning to buy a 94 integra shell.
do u think i can u the same tranny or will i need a different one ?

Anything is possible. You'll need to do some fab work though.

90 transmissions are cable, you need a hydraulic transmission, unless you use that conversion.

Yeah, you can do the conversion with the kit, but I don't think you would like how it feels if you are used to a hydro one. The cable transmissions are quite a bit stiffer usually. You could probably find a hydro LS trans for around what that conversion kit costs anyways.

yeah that kit is to convert a car thats cable to use a hydro transmission, not to convert from hydro to cable
