Is the power gain worth the effort or is this just a way to make a teg sound better?

sound..the gains of a new exhaust are minimal. however, if you plan to boost in the future it is necessary

thats what I was thinking. Not planning on boosting, going to keep it as a daily driver with a few bolt ons and a good bit of chrome.

You will see maybe 2-3 hp gains. What it really does is provides better air flow, so it can breather better and give you a nice sound as well with a good setup definitely something I'd suggest. If you do, try and get something with a 2.25-2.35" diameter piping. Anything more and you'll probably lose power.
