so we replaced the head gasket thinking it had been blown since the oil had turned into this milky thing and we noticed coolant was in the #2 cylinder...after replacing the head gasket it ran great for a week or so and then it happened again, the oil had gone milky. we got the head tested this time and they told us it was cracked, so we replaced it...
its now running great but the coolant is back in the #2 cylinder!!! no milky oil yet, any ideas what might be causing this?!

The head was cracked? Jesus dude. How long did you keep running it with over heating issues? How does the block look? If you cracked the head...then the block is probably in bad shape as well. Also, if you are using the same head bolts they are probably stretched and no good. Reusing OEM head bolts is never a good idea to begin with...especially after a blown head gasket issue.

Head gasket sealing is simple when you boil it down. If its leaking its either warped surface or dirty mating area. Did you have the new head milled? Also make sure the top of the cylinder sleeves are clean by taking a non abrasive scotch brite pad to them. You cant have any debris left from the old gasket.
