Coolant straving ?

Awhile back I noticed that when I am coming off the highway on to exit ramp that has an incline and moderate right turn my water temperature will go from normal running temp to over halfway from getting dangerous hot, but then when I come out the turn the water temp will then go back down.

Anyone ever had a problem like this before?

Is there anything I can do ? Besides slow down?!

add more coolant? check it in the morning, after its had plenty of time to cool down

sounds like you need to lay off the weed man. lol might just be a bad gauge. try getting a universal and hooking to it and see if it still does the same thing

Could be the fact that the coolant is low, and that incline puts it at a position that it cannot flow through the radiator to cool down.

Could be that. Possibly an air bubble. I'd drain all the coolant out refill and bleed the system.
